The DIGITAL EQUITY PLAN proposes initiatives to address barriers to access, including availability, affordability, and adoption barriers. We engaged 140+ community entities through interviews, an inventory survey, and focus groups, identified learnings from local efforts underway in San Antonio/Greater Bexar County today, and researched comparable city benchmarks while developing the plan.
Ultimately, our initiatives will close the digital divide for key population segments including households, students, older adults, veterans, people living with disabilities, the workforce, telemedicine, and the justice system.
